An allegation is made 30 years back, which is investigated thoroughly and post multiple interviews and tests, a verdict is given.

In spite of a spotless record thereafter, the incident is painfully dredged up again.

The decision of the GBC is forced under scrutiny and demands to be revoked, simply because someone spotted H H Lokanath Swami Maharaj’s picture on the internet and decided to call him a child molester.

The alleged victim, a grown woman now, has not spoken up , though fully capable of doing so but certain other so called ‘do – gooders’ suddenly decide to protect the reputation of ISKCON , which funnily enough , was never under the scanner !

The previous GBC investigation is termed inadequate and there is a demand for re-investigation by the International Child Protection Office , merely on the basis of certain irresponsible, offensive and derogatory statements on social media .

 

Srila Prabhupada explained that a man with a poor fund of knowledge falsely claims that fire and heat are the same. Heat, here is a reflection and not directly fire. Similarly here the honourable GBC’s resolution passed in 1994 included the fulfilment of Srila Prabhupada’s desire for a united worldwide preaching organisation to spread Mahaprabhu’s mission .  This same unity is being grossly demolished by baseless allegations against our foundational acarya ‘s senior  disciple , lovingly addressed as Sant Tukaram, by him .

This is the same disciple who pleased Krsna and Srila Prabhupada immensely with the Padyatra Sankirtan movement .

 

This is the same direct disciple who has attracted millions to Krsna’s service and Prema through his ecstatic Kirtan and as the minister for the Harinam Sankirtan ministry for ISKCON .

 

He is the same Nitya Parshad with whom Prabhupada wanted to travel for sankirtan a few days before he left his body and that too as the leader of the party .

 

He is the initiator of the Holy Name festival who has dedicated his body , mind and words totally to the service of Guru and Gauranga .

This very disciple was accused of ‘child abuse ‘ translating into physical, sexual and/or psychological injury, which was absolutely NOT the case .

GBC is being asked to acknowledge this incident as ‘Vaisnav Apradha ‘, though it DOES NOT qualify as any one of the 6 types of offences mentioned in the Skanda Purana (kill / blaspheme/be envious/ fail to offer obeisance / be angry / not be joyful on seeing a Vaisnava )

The CPO is being demanded to be made completely  autonomous from the GBC whereas it is an integral part of the GBC and was created by the GBC itself .

This ardh kukkuti nyaya needs to be questioned and reflected upon , before giving yet another verdict or judgement on the same dearest disciple of Srila Prabhupada who was called - already a sannyasi – even before his Sannyasa initiation by Prabhupada .
